A fighter’s greatest strength isn’t just their punch—it’s the community that stands behind them.

And that’s what happened at the Media Workout with Pro Fighter Nick “DaTruth” Isaac at Fight into Fitness. Nick gave the community a peak into his journey while preparing for his next bout.

The “Corner” isn’t just a place in the ring

The “Corner” is the community, the family, the friends who support along the way. Nick’s corner was bigger than the 3-4 people that you typically see in the boxer’s corner during a fight. But during Nick’s Media day, the support was loud.

For 2 hours, friends, family, coaches, and community showed up to support Nick for his Media Day. While some watched as he was in the ring sparring with a coach, others were reviewing his last fight on screen to remind them of what’s to come for this future fight.

Local media teams were there to capture Nick doing what he does best, while the crowd was enjoying the essence of everything happening for the day.

Fight into Fitness hosted this event for Nick, which is one of the gyms he trains in. FIF continues to embody the spirit of community inviting all to witness Nick and to support this young fighter as he continues to grow in his professional career.

Show, Don’t Tell

“You were born to win. But winning doesn’t happen by accident—it happens on purpose.” – Zig Ziglar.

You can’t win 7 fights back to back without having the focus and skill to make it happen. During this event, Nick gave all a behind-the-scenes look at his warmups, techniques, drills and more. He didn’t have to tell us how he’s been able to win, he showed us.

Nick started out in the ring solo with his warmup and shadow boxing drills. Later Coach Zo and other sparring coaches got in the ring with him to showcase his speed and power.

Then the gloves came off. But Nick wasn’t done! Even after working it out in the ring he showed us his precision on the speedbag and showed “da truth”. To top it off, one of the last moves Nick finished from his training was getting in an incredible amount of crunches on the bench as his coach sat on his legs.

Beyond the Ring

Nick doesn’t show any grace in the ring, but outside he definitely shows love to his support system.

After the workout he thanked everyone for coming out to support and took pictures with everyone that asked; especially Coach Angel and Coach Makeda for helping to host the event. Live with Liteskin Lou podcast was on site to conclude with a special interview with Nick regarding his upcoming fight.

It’s not just about him getting in the ring to win fight after fight, but he carries the spirit of the community, who rallied around him from the very beginning.
